Product description The PR 48 from Heil Sound is a professional-quality dynamic kick drum microphone that provides highly accurate sound reproduction. Designed for a life of professional use, the mic has a large 1.5" dynamic diaphragm sealed in a vulcanized shock mount to minimize handling noise. The capsule has a cardioid pickup pattern to reject off-axis noise. A specially designed low-pass filter provides a 10dB boost in the 60-100Hz range, which is where the kick drum has the most resonance. The mic has a metal housing with a slanted XLR entrance for easy cable connection. - Highly-accurate sound reproduction
