Product description A favorite of fashion shooters, the 33.5" deep parabolic Grand Mini 85 Softbox from Hensel offers a wide beam spread, with noticeable falloff and more directional control than an Octabox. The Grand Mini 85's increased depth is responsible for this, allowing the light source to "focus" the light output while still wrapping around your subject. You can use this 16-sided modifier on its own, its reflective silver interior resembling a large reflector with the high contrast that's ideal for long-throw work.The Grand Mini 85 comes with front and interior diffusers which can be used by themselves or together as most photographers do for maximum softness with directional control. Separately purchased accessories include silver/gold and soft gold/white Bounce Discs to add a subtle hue to the output, and a fabric grid that gives you more beam control and allows dramatic effects. One other feature is worth making special note of— all of the Grand Mini's components form a single unit with a built-in Hensel EH strobe mount that allows opening and closing as fast as an umbrella.
