Product description Used primarily in the studio to drive large light sources or modifiers, the 230V Hensel Tria 24 SF Power Pack is a compact strobe generator that divides 2,400W/s symmetrically between 2 outlets while providing recycle times as short as 2.2 seconds at full power. This is a heavy-duty unit with a full contingent of professional features packed in a sturdy metal housing with lots of tech-appeal right down to its integrated cradle/handle. Power selection is accomplished with a continuous rotary dial with no stop position so you don't have reverse direction to return to your lower power settings. The pack's 2,400W/s is split symmetrically between 2 channels and adjustable in 1/10 stop increments over a 6-stop range yielding recycle times of 0.4 to 2.2 seconds and flash durations as short as 1/940 sec. with an EH Pro Mini Speed flash head. Settings are indicated on a large 7-segment power display. Hensel has maintained a familiar orientation of controls for intuitive use by owners of earlier units. Modeling light control is similarly flexible. Settings for full on or off are selectable as well as proportional output to help in pre-visualization of lighting effects. A switchable audible ready alert and FC (flash check) modeling light dimming indicate full charge status. The Tria 24 SF can be triggered with the included sync cord, optical slave or its built-in Strobe Wizard Plus and FREEMASK receivers using an optional transmitter. FREEMASK is a studio technology developed by Hensel together with Schoepe GmbH which varies the flash output in short sequential exposures to create layer masks with minimal post-processing. While The standard Strobe Wizard Plus transmitter will wirelessly trigger the pack, the FREEMASK transmitter will both trigger the pack and/or activate FREEMASK. The Tria 24 SF's performance features are backed with solid maintenance features such as APD auto-dump of excess capacitive power, Turbo Ignition for consistent firing of flash heads regardless of age, Plugmatic and fused circuit protection and quiet fan cooling. - Attributes and Benefits
