Product description Rest your sax safely with the Alto/Tenor Saxophone Stand from HERCULES Stands. Featuring an adjustable backrest, the stand can be positioned to secure your alto or tenor sax snugly.
Both the upper yoke and the backrest are covered with specially formulated foam to protect your instrument's finish. Peg holes on the stand's legs give you the option of adding up to two instrument pegs (available separately), for instruments such as trumpets, cornets, and soprano saxophones. This feature maximizes your floor space and reduces the number of stands you need to transport. When it's time to pack up, simply press the locking pins and fold down the upper yoke; this will reduce the stand to a compact bundle that fits inside the included carrying bag. The new model when using it for an alto sax, has an issue where the alto sax bell position bracket slips. This has not happened with my older model which I still use. Has this been an issue with newer models?
