It has a total of eight bays with 96TB of storage that's pre-configured in RAID 5 and for Mac systems. Thanks to its dual Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, you'll be able to daisy-chain up to six devices, deliver up to 15W of power to bus-powered devices, connect to two 4K displays, and most importantly, transfer files at speeds of up to 40 Gb/s. Once it's plugged in, be sure to download the rDrive Manager software to adjust its settings, monitor drive health, and much more. - Thunderbolt 3
- Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB Type-C connector. Doubling the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 3 features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB 3.1 at up to 10 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect to two 4K displays simultaneously.
