Product description The Rocket 640L 4-Port SATA 6 Gbps PCIe 2.0 x4 Host Bus Adapter from HighPoint is a cost-effective, high-performance SATA 6 Gbps storage Host Bus Adapter (HBA) ideal for desktop PCs and workstations. With its low profile form factor, this second generation host controller utilizes a PCIe 2.0 x4 host bus interface, and supports both non-RAID and RAID configurations including 0 and 1 for fast SATA 6 Gbps hard disks and SSDs. The Rocket 640L is fully backwards compatible with PCIe 1.0 x4, x8 and x16 slots. It features 4 independent SATA ports that can support up to 4 SATA hard disks and SSDs of any generation. The HBA features hot plug and hot swap functions. It also has an activity/fail LED. Moreover, the Rocket 640L is AHCI compliant and works with Windows and Linux operating systems. - The Rocket 640L is a cost-effective, high-performance SATA 6 Gbps storage Host Bus Adapter (HBA) ideal for desktop PCs and workstations
