It is ideal for SSD Caching Storage Applications. It combines high value and high performance into a solution that appeals to a wide array of clientele, ranging from home PC enthusiasts to media professionals, graphic artists and photographers. The RocketCache 3240X8 HBA allows you to create your own high-performance storage solution using off-the-shelf hard disks and SSDs. Capitalizing on HighPoint's industry-proven RAID technology, RocketCache HBA can combine multiple SSDs and hard disks into a single storage unit using one of the four specialized caching methods, in order to maximize transfer speeds or data security. Use any combination of hard disks and SSDs - double up 2 hard disks with 2 SSDs for fast, high-security data storage, or link up to 3 SSDs to supercharge the read and write performance of your high-capacity hard drive. The RocketCache 3240X8 features 4 independent SATA 6 Gbps ports powered by a blazing fast PCIe 2.0 host interface and a Marvell 88SE9485 RAID controller that delivers enterprise class RAID performance.
