Product description The RocketRAID 644LS PCIe 2.0 x4 Host Bus Adapter from HighPoint provides your Windows or Linux computer with a mini-SAS port that can be use to connect to an external SAS-capable storage unit. It features four SATA channels to support the drives in your unit, and each SATA channel is able to deliver 6 Gb/s speeds. The low-profile adapter occupies an available PCIe 2.0 x4 slot inside your desktop and comes with a RAID management suite. You can use this suite to configure the drives in the storage unit in a RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, or JBOD mode. Additionally, it has alarm/buzzer notifications. - Hardware
