Product description Designed for USB 3.1 Type-C connectors on compatible Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, the RocketStor 3112C Dual-Bay USB 3.1 Type-C Drive Dock from HighPoint allows users to connect up to two external 3.5" or 2.5" hard drives or solid state drives to their machine at data rates up to 10 Gb/s. Each drive runs on its own dedicated SATA III 6 Gb/s channel, meaning that the bandwidth is 6 Gb/s per channel, not 6 Gb/s divided between the two channels.
This drive dock also supports SATA II 3 Gb/s drives and operates using 100-240 VAC. Included with the RocketStor 3112C is a power adapter, an AC power cord, and a USB 3.1 cable. It is protected by a limited 1-year parts and labor warranty. - UASP Enabled
- UAS (USB Attached SCSI) is a computer protocol that is used to transfer data to and from USB storage devices. UAS offers maximized bandwidth utilization, and can handle multiple data transfer requests simultaneously, unlike the slower queue system of BOT (Bulk Only Transport), which only provides single-task commands - each task must complete before the next begins. USB connections working in UASP mode result in higher transfer speeds and lower CPU utilization

- Setting up the RocketStor 3112C could not be easier. No drivers or software are required - just plug in and power on. Each drive bay is hot-swap ready, so your system will automatically recognize virtually any disk you insert

- The RocketStor 3112C supports common Power Management features provided by Windows and OS X operating systems, such as Sleep Mode. The RocketStor 3112C and hosted drive will enter a low-power state when the operating system is in sleep mode, in order to help conserve energy and maintain optimal efficiency
