Product description Add the speed and storage capabilities of 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 and RAID to your Windows or Mac system using the RocketStor 6114V 4-Bay USB 3.1 RAID Enclosure from HighPoint. Designed with scalability and flexibility in mind for mobile workstations, All-in-One workstations, gaming platforms, desktop workstations, and more, the RocketStor 6114V supports RAID 0, 1, and 5, each of which will provide users with performance, data redundancy, or a combination of both. For those who do not require a RAID, JBOD and Single Disk modes are also available. When configured as RAID 0, this enclosure can achieve sustained reads of up to 500 MB/s and sustained writes of up to 470 MB/s, while a RAID 5 configuration allows for sustained reads of up to 450 MB/s and sustained writes of up to 220 MB/s.
The RocketStor 6114V has four hot-swappable drive bays that support 3.5" and 2.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs. All of the drive bays feature LEDs noting power and drive activity, and the 6114V is also equipped with one 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 Type-C port, which is also known as USB 3.1 Gen 2. The USB 3.1 Type-C port is compatible with 5 Gb/s USB 3.0, 480 Mb/s USB 2.0, and supports the USB Attached SCSI Protocol (UASP).
Using the RocketStor Manager Solution, novices and experts will be able to configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot RAID configurations and individual storage devices from a user-friendly web-based interface. Using advanced management features, users will also be able to configure e-mail notifications to inform others of changing storage conditions while outside of the work environment and manage storage remotely via a local network connection.
HighPoint's RocketStor 6114V 4-Bay USB 3.1 RAID Enclosure is cooled using an 80 x 80 x 20mm fan and is powered by an internal 100-240V power supply that runs at 50-60 Hz. It is compatible with Windows and Mac OS and includes 4 x drive trays, 1 x USB Type-A to Type-C cable (3.3'), 1 x UL power cord, 16 x 3.5" mounting screws, and 2.5" mounting screws. - The RocketStor 6114V's adoption of the widely accessible USB interface means it is compatible with nearly any computing system with USB ports. The RocketStor 6114V requires only a single cable between the enclosure and host system. The integrated 10 Gb/s USB 3.1 technology is fully backwards compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, and can also be used with USB Type-A connectors via the included cable adapter. To connect the RocketStor 6114V to systems with a USB Type-C port, please use the HighPoint USB-C31-1MC cable (sold separately).

- The RocketStor 6114V's open approach to storage applications allows customers to use their choice of SATA drive from major drive brands including HGST, Seagate, Toshiba, and WDC. The integrated Online Capacity Expansion (OCE) and Online RAID level Migration (ORLM) features can add drives to existing RAID configurations, and change one RAID type to another, on the fly.
The four removable hot-swap bays support 2.5" or 3.5" SATA hard drives or SSDs. Enterprise /NAS class drives are recommended for the RocketStor 6114V, and customers can tailor storage configurations to meet each application's performance and budget requirements. - RocketStor Manager Solution
- The RocketStor 6114V includes a user-friendly web-based management interface available for Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. Novices and experts alike can quickly and easily configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot RAID configurations and individual storage devices, all from a single, unified software suite.
Advanced Management Features allow customers to configure e-mail notification to inform one or more users of changing storage conditions while outside of the work environment, and manage storage remotely via a local network connection. - Safeguard Your Storage Investments
- The RocketStor 6114V seamlessly integrates LED features, an audible alarm, and an intelligent cooling apparatus to help ensure your storage investments stay healthy and accessible. LEDs show drive activity and drive power, fan speed is automatically adjusted to maintain consistent ambient temperatures while reducing noise, audible alarms can be configured in the case of device overheating or failure, and RAID storage health status updates can be sent via e-mail.
