Product description The HighPoint RocketStor 6418S Eight-Bay SAS/SATA Storage Tower Enclosure features eight bays that can support SAS and SATA hard drives and SSDs. Eight hot-swappable drive trays are included so you can quickly install 2.5" and 3.5" drives inside the empty drive bays. To cool the enclosure and your drives, HighPoint has outfitted it with two smart and quiet fans. This enclosure also comes with two mini-SAS ports that connect to an optional HBA PCIe controller card or a SAS port on your computer. - 6 Gb/s Mini-SAS 8-Bay Enclosure
- The RocketStor 6418 is a storage tower enclosure that features two external 6 Gb/s Mini-SAS ports and eight hot-swap bays, which support nearly any 2.5" or 3.5" SATA hard drives or SSDs. This enclosure lets you utilize SSD's for performance or hard disks for maximum capacity. It features built-in LED's and an audible alarm that quickly notifies administrators in the case of hardware failure or environmental warning such as power loss or overheating.

- HighPoint has built the RocketStor 6418 with two smart and quiet fans along with a brushed aluminum chassis, an efficient internal power supply, and a compact form-factor design. Moreover, the external 6 Gb/s Mini-SAS ports as well as the eight removable hot-swap bays support any enterprise and NAS-class drives.
