Product description Designed for use with both Mac and Windows based computers, the diskless ROCKETSTOR 6421TS 4-Bay SAS & SATA Rackmount Turbo RAID Array from HighPoint Technologies can be configured to suit your specific storage needs. This RAID array comes equipped with four drive bays capable of holding either 2.5" or 3.5" SATA/SAS hard drives with a total storage capacity of up to 40TB. With a maximum data transfer rate of up to 2400 MB/s this RAID array can transfer large files quickly. Users also benefit from the extensive RAID configuration capabilities as the inserted drives can be configured RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and JBOD to suit nearly any storage needs. Installation has also been greatly simplified as this enclosure features a 1 RU form factor making it easy to fit it into an existing rack-mount configuration. - Connectivity Solution
- The RocketStor 6421TS utilizes high-performance Mini-SAS connectivity to directly support up to 4 SAS/SATA hard drives in one or more RAID storage configurations. The robust and secure Mini-SAS connector delivers a maximum data transfer bandwidth of 2,400 MB/s and is an ideal solution for professional and business class workstations that require highly sustained storage performance.

The robust rackmount enclosure was designed specifically to protect and maintain Redundant RAID configurations in the most high-stress working environments, and ensure data remains online even in the case of hardware failure.

- The RocketStor 6421TS has integrated a series of preemptive security measures to maximize Storage uptime whenever data is needed. Redundant RAID 5 and 6 protection shields storage configurations from 1 or 2 disk failures without compromising data accessibility.
- Robust RAID Recovery
- The RocketStor 6421TS can save and manage redundant RAID Configurations to ensure RAID accessibility and availability. This configuration data can be used to recover disabled arrays in the case of a power outage or severe hardware failure.
- Open-Box Storage Solution
- The RocketStor 6421TS features an "open-box" approach to storage, which grants customers the freedom to use their choice of SAS or SATA drive from all major drive brands including HGST, Seagate, Toshiba and WDC. The four-removable hot-swap bays support any 2.5" or 3.5" SATA / SAS Hard Drive, and up to 40TB of total storage capacity. - The RocketStor 6421TS includes a user-friendly web-based management interface available for Windows, and Mac OSX operating systems. Novices and experts alike, can quickly and easily configure, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot RAID configurations and individual storage devices, all from a single, unified software suite. Advanced Management Features allow customers to configure email notification to inform one or more users of changing storage conditions while outside of the work environment and manage storage remotely via a local network connection. LED's and configurable audible alarms are provided to quickly notify the administrator in the case of a component failure or environmental warning such as power loss or overheating.
