Product description The RocketStor 8-Bay Thunderbolt 3 RAID Enclosure from HighPoint is built for users looking for a customizable storage solution. It features Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, which supports daisy-chaining up to six additional devices for plenty of storage space. Moreover, Thunderbolt 3 offers data transfer rates of up to 40 Gb/s so you can quickly access as well as transfer data between devices. This enclosure supports up to eight 3.5" or 2.5" SATA or SAS hard drives or solid-state drives, and has an LED indicator to notify you when it's on or currently active. Additionally, its Thunderbolt 3 is compatible with USB Type-C, which has a reversible interface so you can connect cables in either orientation. For heat dissipation, this enclosure is equipped with two 80mm fans with intelligent monitoring that keeps temperatures constant and your hardware operational. Once set up, you can use RocketStor's web-based management utility to easily set up and manage your RAID configuration. - Thunderbolt 3
- Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB Type-C connector. Doubling the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 3 features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB 3.1 at up to 10 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 3 port.
