Product description A versatile single light kit characterized by a unique lighting technology, the Bee Plasma Flood Light Kit with AC Power Supply from Hive Lighting pairs one Bee light head with a 15' header cable, a multi-voltage 90-300 VAC AC power supply, a five-piece scrim set, and a four-leaf barndoor set.
The Bee Plasma Flood light is an open-face style light that utilizes a single plasma bulb to produce a broad 100° beam angle. It features a CRI of 94 and has a nominal, daylight-balanced, correlated color temperature of 5600K, which can be adjusted from 4600-7000K using an on-board dial. Ideal for both still and movie applications, this light is also flicker free, vibration and impact resistant, and the single point source bulb has been tested for a lifespan of 30,000 hours. - Bee Plasma Flood Light The variable color temperature Bee Plasma Flood Light from Hive Lighting is an open face-style lighting solution. Using a single unique plasma lamp (the micro-star), the Bee employs an innovative reflector system that achieves a 100-degree flood beam angle that fits optional square, rectangular and octagonal softboxes, photo umbrellas, and a traditional glass Fresnel lens, making it a tool for both motion and still image production. The Bee LEP (Light Emitting Plasma) light source is capable of producing 2x output of LED sources, 4x the brightness of fluorescents and 5x the power of incandescent sources, all from a single point source bulb. Its relatively light weight of 10 lb makes transport easy and setup and breakdown a snap.Professional and convenience features include color temperature that's variable from 4600 - 7000K (CCT), a long lamp life of 30,000 hours and flicker-free performance at any setting. Power options include a multi-voltage AC/DC power supply as well as 2 single output and 2 double output 90-277 VAC power supplies. A 15' header cable is included with the light. One of the above mentioned power supplies must be purchased separately for use of the Bee.
- Bee 5-Piece Scrim Set This Bee 5-Piece Scrim Set from Hive Lighting allows you to selectively reduce the light intensity of the Bee Plasma Light. The kit contains two single scrims, two double scrims, one 1/2 single scrim, one 1/2 double scrim and a scrim bag. Scrim diameter is 6.5". The set also fits the Wasp light fixture.
- 4-Leaf Barndoor for Bee Plasma Flood Light The 4-Leaf Barndoor for Bee Plasma Flood Light from Hive Lighting is a light modifier that mounts onto fixture and allows you to direct the light's output to areas that you want illuminated and keep it from areas that you don't.
