Product description 9 of the Best Gifts for Photographer Moms Read More Designed with the versatility to cover photo jobs both big and small, the 1.0"-wide navy Sightseer Sling Camera Strap from HoldFast Gear offers the basic functionality of a standard, adjustable, 42.5 - 58.5" cross-body strap--but is expandable with the brand's entire line of Sightseer lens and accessory pouches. Smaller pouches for compact lenses, cell phones, and personal items attach to the front of the strap, while larger ones for big lenses hang from the back. Pouches can connect to the strap's loop or attach directly to the strap itself via their own belt loops.
Your DSLR, mirrorless, or rangefinder with attached lens hangs from a smaller "slider" strap with a metal ring attached to the main strap. When you're ready to shoot, the camera slides right into position easily for quick image capture. The included, attached Camera HoldFast Accessory Clip holds your camera securely for worry-free carrying. It is a classic D-ring with an attached 1/4"-20 screw for connection to most camera tripod mounts. A washer-like rubber compression piece secures the bolt tightly to prevent loosening and detachment. This little clip and screw system is capable of holding over 150 lb. Additionally, the thin Safety Catch strap is there as a backup, bypassing the clip and screw and connecting to the camera's side lug--so in the unlikely event that all else fails, your camera will still be tethered to the Sightseer strap.
Crafted in the USA from waxed canvas and American bison leather accents, the strap offers both durability and rugged good looks. The shoulder pad, accessory loop, and the smaller camera strap with attached D-ring are all made of leather, and the loop also features a touch-fastening back.
