Product description Boost productivity without sacrificing patient safety with this Enhanced Xenon 1900h Area-Imaging Healthcare Scanner USB Kit from Honeywell, which has been optimized for healthcare applications. Primarily it does this through the use of a disinfectant-ready housing that resists potential damage from cleaning agents. Also, it features a Patient Do-Not-Disturb mode that disables audio feedback and produces additional visual notification options. The wired unit has a very capable scanning system as well, using Adaptus area-imaging technology for fast reading of 1D, 2D, PDF, OCR, and Postal symbologies. This works well with the ColorFusion technology for color imaging with the 838 x 640 resolution sensor to capture low contrast, high-density, translucent, or even damaged barcodes.
The 1900h offers users a wide field of view of 41.1° horizontally and 32.2° vertically and can work within a motion tolerance of 240 in/sec. Also, making it suitable for demanding work environments, the scanner is IP41 rated and can withstand fifty 6' drops onto concrete. It even features USB, RX232, RS485, and keyboard wedge interface compatibility and comes with a 6.6' USB cable to help you get connected.
