Product description

Adding numerous features specifically designed for healthcare organizations, the Enhanced Xenon 1902h Wireless Area-Imaging Healthcare Scanner from Honeywell will be a great choice to speed up many medical administration workflows. The 1902h comes equipped with Bluetooth v2.1 for wireless connection to the included base. It is also of the highest quality when it comes to scanning as well with sixth-generation Adaptus area-imaging technology for accurately and quickly reading 1D, PDF, and 2D barcodes, including high-density, low contrast, translucent, and damaged ones. Tie this in with ColorFusion and you will now have excellent capabilities on both black & white and color barcodes, which are becoming more popular in healthcare.

For improved patient comfort, the 1902h offers a Patient Do-Not-Disturb mode which disables audio feedback and activates more video options for ensuring scans are performed accurately. Also a Scan Lamp mode is available to provide white illumination for a workstation so you don't need to turn on the room lights. The body is designed to hold up to the environment with a disinfectant-ready IP41-rated housing and it can withstand multiple 6' drops to concrete. It features a rechargeable 2400mAh lithium-ion battery for completely wireless operation and the included base has USB, keyboard wedge, RS232, and RS485 interfaces.
