Alerts are sent to your iOS or Android device via the Honeywell Home app when motion is detected. The included CR123A battery delivers up to 3 years of battery life. - Motion sensor's smart IR technology keeps false alerts to a minimum by not reacting to background motion activity such as a fan, robot vacuum, or pets up to 79 pounds
