Product description The Water Defense Leak Alarm with Sensing Cable from Honeywell offers protection against water damage from leaks. This device is equipped with a 4' cable capable of detecting water along its entire length. The sensing cable can be placed around water heaters, washing machines, sump pumps, toilets, dishwashers, underneath sinks, or anywhere not usually observed. Additionally, the sensing cable can be extended to a length of 240' by adding extensions (available separately) to form a perimeter around a room.
When water is detected, a 100 dBA audible alarm will alert you. A low battery alert will let you know when the two AA batteries (available separately) that power this device need to be replaced. - Can be placed around water heaters, washing machines, sump pumps, toilets, dishwashers, underneath sinks, or anywhere not usually observed
- 6' leader cable enables the alarm unit to be mounted on walls or in a separate room from the sensor cable
- Detector can be placed on a floor or mounted on another surface
- Includes double-sided tape for mounting
- Water sensing cable detects water for the entire length of the cable
- Sensing cable extensions (available separately) enable you to form a perimeter around a room, ensuring that water leaks are swiftly detected to prevent damage
- No assembly required for operation
