The 8' diameter Drone Launch Pad from Hoodman provides a takeoff and landing surface for your FREEFLY ALTA or similar-sized RC heli. The pad prevents dust and debris being kicked up by the downdraft, and features a weighted perimeter to avoid being blown away. A bright orange coloration makes the Launch Pad easy to locate and serves to alert others in the vicinity that a drone is in use. - Springs into shape when released from carry bag
- Galvanized-steel perimeter weight keeps Drone Launch Pad in place without stakes
- Avoids dust and detritus being kicked up and contaminating your camera's lens or entering the motors during takeoff and landing
- Protects rotors from tall grass and pebble strikes
- Bright orange denier polyester pad with black heliport markings and compass headings for easy location when returning to base
- Collapses to fit included carry bag with shoulder strap for easy storage and transport – simply fold and twist the large pad into three smaller circles and place in bag
