Product description The GPS-MTG is a GPS based Master Time Code Generator; it generates Longitudal Time Code matched to UTC (universal time code) with time and date information. - Matching Time Code
- GPS based time code can be matched from locations across the country from one another because it is all based from GPS time and date.
- Drop Frame
- Generates drop frame format SMPTE time code locked to an NTSC reference signal.
- Clock Reference
- Besides a time code generator this unit can be used for studio clock reference; for live productions an accurate time of day reference makes coordinating network programming with local affiliates easy.
- Daylight Savings
- Automatically resets time during daylight savings time change.
- Indicators
- A flashing LED shows when the device is locked to a GPS reference.
- RS-232 Out
- The RS-232 port outputs data for input to a PC; this allows coordination of clock and calendar information.
- Manual Mode
- Manual mode can operate with or without the GPS receiver allowing manual preset of time and user bit data.
