Product description The SAG-50 is a "safe area generator"; this unit generates a matte around the video to specify an area where graphics can be seen on a home television. It also has crosshatch and dot patterns that can be used for convergence and centering for projectors and service departments. - Safe Area
- A safe area matte is utilized to make sure graphics and other information can be positioned within the frame correctly. The safe area is fixed at the SMPTE RP-27.3 standard of 80% and 90% of the scanned image area.
- Convergence
- Dots and crosshatch patterns are available to adjust projection devices and video walls.
- Line Trigger
- The actual field and line numbers are shown on the video monitor with the output being very easy to read and evaluate on waveform monitors and ocilloscopes. Lines 10 through 262 and field one and two can be selected.
