Product description The Horseman VCC PRO [DB] View Camera Converter enables a full range of camera movements to be utilized when photographing with a digital back. As the central component within a modular system, the VCC PRO [DB] is compatible with Hasselblad H, V, and Mamiya 645 digital backs using optional dedicated adapter plates. It also supports the use of a wide array of large format lenses, and is compatible with the Intelligent Shutter System (ISS) for critical exposure control. Digital back adapter plates can be attached to the camera body from four different directions for seamless switching between horizontal and vertical shooting orientations by turning a knob, rather than re-orienting the entire camera. Additionally, a ground glass focusing screen can be employed for critical applications when the digital back is removed. The rear standard also incorporates a spindle drive for seamless stitching of multiple frames, with the ability to lock the back in place for greater precision. The VCC PRO [DB]'s relatively compact, lightweight form factor and ability to accept wide angle lenses makes it ideally suited to use on location, as well as in the studio. - Camera Movements
- For precise perspective and focusing control, both front and rear standard movements can be used.
Front Standard: - Tilt: 15° forward / 10° backward
- Swing: +/- 15°
- Shift: +/- 1.2" / 30mm
Rear Standard: - Rise/Fall: +/- 0.6" / 15mm
- Shift: +/- 0.8" / 20mm
- Rear Standard Features
- An integrated spindle drive on the rear standard permits seamless stitching of multiple frames in order to accomplish panoramic-type imagery. This rear drive allows fluid movement of the mounted back with secure locking at each position for greater accuracy.
Using one of three available optional adapter plates, Hasselblad V, H, or Mamiya 645-mount digital backs can easily be attached and swapped out. Each adapter plate can be mounted to the camera in one of four ways, permitting changing the shooting orientation by turning a locking knob. When the plates are removed, there is also the ability to utilize an optional ground glass back for critical focusing. - Modular System
- This view camera converter is the central component within the VCC system, and allows you to pair your choice of optional digital back along with electronic shutter systems, large format lenses, and large format digital lenses.
