Product description If you're a fan of Hotone's guitar-pedal modeling, but seek a more compact and pedalboard-friendly unit, then rock on with the XTOMP mini. This pedal utilizes an Android and iOS compatible app—as well as Bluetooth LE connectivity—to port over 110 classic, vintage, and modern pedal tones from the digital realm, putting them underneath your analog foot. Hotone uses Comprehensive Dynamic Circuit Modeling technology (CDCM) to implement dynamic signal variation when constructing their emulative algorithms, thereby achieving a tonal response authentically dependent on your dynamics at any given time.
The pedal itself measures 2.5 x 4.4 x 1.7", making it more compact than its sibling. It's encased in a thin zinc-alloy casing and has six knobs surrounded by multicolored LEDs. The functionality of these knobs changes depending on the algorithms you've loaded into the pedal. Whichever effect you've chosen, the XTOMP mini's corresponding parameters will be displayed within the included XTOMP app. In this manner, the app illustrates how the effect is mapped out on the stompbox.
As this is the junior sibling of the original XTOMP, certain features are not available in this unit, such as stereo I/O, true bypassing (this pedal gives you buffered bypass only), and various custom algorithms. However, what you lose in features you make up for in convenience, a smaller footprint, and an included power supply. - Key Features at a Glance
