Product description Designed to produce a uniquely diffuse look, the 55mm DUTO Filter from Hoya employs fine concentric lines that have been etched onto the filter surface to generate a distinctly soft image quality. These concentric lines produce an effect where the center of the image remains sharp while the image becomes gradually softer and more diffuse towards the edges. The filter is constructed from optical glass and is mounted within a durable, lightweight aluminum ring that has a hard anodized finish to guard against wear. - Fine concentric lines etched on filter surface help to create a soft-focus effect while allowing the center of the frame to remain sharp.
