Product description Upgrade the memory in your HP Z4, Z6, or Z8 G4 Series Workstation using the 128GB DDR4 2666 MHz ECC LR-DIMM Memory Module from HP. This single RAM module features a capacity of 128GB, a clock speed of 2666 MHz (PC4-21300), a 288-pin form factor, is unbuffered, and uses ECC technology. ECC (Error-correcting code) technology is a type of computer data storage that can detect and correct the most common kinds of internal data corruption. ECC memory is used in most computers where data corruption cannot be tolerated under any circumstances, such as for scientific or financial computing. Additionally, this memory is a Load-Reduced DIMM (LR-DIMM), meaning that it operates with lower voltage than the 1.2V that is standard for DDR4.
