Product description Work Laptops This 14" EliteBook 840 G5 Series Multi-Touch 2-in-1 Notebook from HP is designed for use in healthcare environments and designed for easy, repeatable sanitization. Specs-wise, it's built with a 1.9 GHz Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 256GB M.2 SATA SED SSD. Thanks to a solid-state drive, this system can quickly boot and load programs, so you can spend less time waiting around. If you need more storage, you can attach external storage solutions using its multiple USB ports.
Its 14" display, driven by integrated Intel UHD graphics, features HP's SureView privacy screen and has a 1920 x 1080 resolution for crisp and clear content reproduction. To connect to the internet, this notebook has both 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet. Pair compatible wireless peripherals with Bluetooth 4.2 to free up its USB ports for more important devices. Other integrated features include microphones, speakers, a Thunderbolt 3 port, an HDMI port, a backlit keyboard, and a combo audio jack. - Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB Type-C connector. Doubling the speed of its predecessor, Thunderbolt 3 features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB 3.1 at up to 10 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort 1.2 allows you to connect up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 3 port.

- Windows Continuum

Native support for recording with the new Game DVR feature makes it easy to capture and share your gameplay. The new DirectX12 takes better advantage of multi-core processors, giving games a performance boost, even on older hardware. Windows 10 also features native support for virtual reality headsets, such as the Oculus Rift.
