Product description This Kit combines the HP 15.6" ZBook 15 G3 Mobile Workstation with a 24GB (3 x 8GB) memory module kit, a 256GB M.2 PCIe Gen 3.0 x4 SSD, and installation services. This HP ZBook 15 G3 is powered by a 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7-6700HQ Quad-Core processor that features a burst speed of up to 3.5 GHz. While the installed operating system is Windows 7 Pro (64-bit), a Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) license is also included and is available at no additional cost.
This ZBook 15 G3 is equipped with two internal drives - the native 500GB 7200 rpm SATA hard drive and the included 256GB M.2 PCIe SSD, for a total storage capacity of 756GB. Although the SSD may not have the larger storage capacity of the spinning hard drive, it contains no moving parts and is able to operate with faster data transfer speeds. SSDs are also better protected against damage from bumps and drops and receive less wear and tear, as there are no read/write heads for the drive media to come into contact with.
For delivering sharp, clear graphics, this workstation comes with integrated Intel HD Graphics 530. Video may be output to an external display using the HDMI and VGA ports, as well as the DisplayPort 1.2 protocol via Thunderbolt 3. Other external peripherals may be connected to this system using the 2 x USB 3.0 Type-C ports and 3 x USB 3.0 Type-A ports. Network connectivity may be achieved using the Gigabit Ethernet port and 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi, while additional compatible peripherals may be connected using Bluetooth 4.2.
While this system does natively include 8GB (1 x 8GB) of RAM, once the bundled 24GB (3 x 8GB) memory module kit is installed, the memory is upgraded to 32GB (4 x 8GB). This turnkey mobile workstation also includes professional installation; these services allow your system and additional components to be ready for use upon arrival. - HP 256GB Z Turbo Drive PCIe M.2 Internal SSD The 256GB Z Turbo Drive PCIe M.2 Internal SSD from HP provides users with 256GB of storage for their compatible system. This SSD utilizes MLC NAND, an M.2 2280 form factor, a PCIe Gen 3.0 x4 interface, and can achieve maximum sequential write speeds of up to 1,260 MB/s and maximum sequential read speeds of up to 2,260 MB/s. When compared to a SATA SSD, its PCIe interface allows it to operate with faster data transfer speeds.

Additionally, this RAM is not buffered and does not support ECC technology. Adding more memory to your system will help boost its capabilities, including improving system performance and application responsiveness. Start-up times will be improved with fewer delays during routine operations, and more programs will be able to run simultaneously with easier switching between them. This memory is protected by a limited lifetime warranty.
