Product description The 256GB SATA Solid State Drive from HP is an internal drive providing a transfer rate of 3 Gbps. It is compatible with HP Z200, Z400, Z600 and Z800 Workstation series. With no moving parts, the solid state drive provides a quiet, cool and durable storage solution. - Higher overall performance than 15k hard disk drives based on random IOPS, sustained reads and sustained writes
- Enables lower acoustic emission than hard disk drives, especially 15k rpm hard disk drives
- More rugged than hard disk drives with respect to shock and vibration
- Typical wall power savings relative to a 15k drive is ~ 10 W/drive* 1
