Product description The 9.5mm Slim BDXL Blu-Ray Writer from HP can write data to all Blu-ray discs, DVD (including DVD-RAM), and CD formats. This Blu-ray writer supports triple, dual, and quad-layer media. It creates discs that can be played on compatible set-top players and Blu-ray or DVD-ROM drives. Optimal recordable technology is available for Blu-ray and DVD burning. This slimline drive has a SATA/ATAPI interface and is compatible with HP Z440, Z640, and Z840 workstations. - Store up to 128GB of data on a quad layer disk, 100GB on a triple layer disk, and 50GB of data on a dual layer disk or record up to 9 hours of high-definition (HD) video or 23 hours of standard-definition (SD) video on a 50GB disc
