Product description Designed for professional photographers, graphic artists, and print artists, the DesignJet Z9+ Dual Roll 44" PostScript Printer with Vertical Trimmer from HP quickly delivers large-format, photo-quality prints. Utilizing high-definition printheads with 2400 nozzles-per-inch, the DesignJet Z9+ has a maximum resolution of 2400 x 1200 dpi and can make prints up to 44" wide. The unit features HP Pixel Control, an imaging pipeline that controls output pixel-by-pixel, resulting in quality prints with smooth transitions and sharp detail. Also built into the printer is an embedded spectrophotometer for expanded gamut with RGB HP Vivid Photo Inks, and together with the HP Professional Pantone Emulation feature, Pantone colors are automatically printed in the closest way possible.
The printer accepts sheet and up to two rolls of media and comes with a horizontal and vertical trimmer for cleanly and precisely cutting your media. Control of the printer is enabled via an intuitive touchscreen, and Ethernet and USB connectivity allow for direct control from a desktop or laptop computer. Wireless printing is possible with compatible iOS, Android, and Chromebook devices via HP Mobile Printing, and the self-encrypted 500GB hard drive safely stores your sensitive data. - Large-Format Printing
- Together with HP Vivid Photo Inks the printer outputs fade-resistant prints as large as 44 x 66" with media up to 31.5 mil thick.
- High-Definition Printheads
- Utilizing high-definition printheads with 2400 nozzles-per-inch the printer has a maximum resolution of 2400 x 1200 dpi to make photo-quality prints.
- HP Pixel Control
- This imaging pipeline controls output pixel-by-pixel, resulting in images with smooth transitions and sharp detail.
- Embedded Spectrophotometer
- The embedded spectrophotometer ensures the highest possible color accuracy and color consistency for color profiling and color calibration and provides expanded gamut with RGB HP Vivid Photo Inks.
