Product description HP Elite Slice: Minimal. Modular. Mighty. Read More Designed to modernize the workplace, the HP Elite Slice Ultra-Small Form Factor Desktop Computer caters to the changing workforce with collaboration capabilities.
The HP Elite Slice has a modular design. This allows you to pick and choose stackable options to add functionality, such as the Audio Module (sold separately) or ODD (Optical Disk Drive) Module (optional). You can also swap out the factory cover for other options, such as the Collaboration Cover or Wireless Charging Cover (also sold separately). Weighing just 2.31 pounds and measuring 1.38" tall, the HP Elite Slice embraces the ultra-small form factor. It also has a matte black finish with copper accents for a clean look.
The system features a 6th Gen Skylake Intel Core i5-6500T Quad-Core processor, 8GB of 2133 MHz DDR4 RAM, a 256GB SATA 2.5" SSD, two USB 3.1 Type-C ports (one for charging, one for alternate mode DP), two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, one DisplayPort, one HDMI port, Gigabit Ethernet, a headphone/mic combo jack, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and the HP Slice Connector, which allows you to connect stackable options. A USB slim keyboard, a USB mouse, and a 65W are also included.
Windows 10 Pro is the installed operating system. It includes all of the features of Windows 10 Home plus many designed specifically for businesses users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access. Devices will also be able to join domains and the Azure Active Directory, and they can even access a specialized version of the Windows Store featuring custom, company-specific applications. - The HP Elite Slice features an ultra-small form factor and a modular design. It allows you to pick which stackable options you want for your HP Elite Slice.
Purchase the Collaboration Cover to run calls and conferences with a touch of a finger or the Wireless Charging Cover to initiate wirelessly charging of your mobile device (up to 6" diagonal).
Snap the optional HP ODD Module to the bottom of the HP Elite Slice via a USB-type connection. It supports legacy content on CDs and DVDs. It has an activity light, an eject button, and a manual eject option.
With the HP Audio Module (sold separately), you can convert your HP Elite Slice into a speakerphone or a multimedia player with 360° stereo sound with bi-directional HP Noise Cancellation, a dual-microphone array with far-field 5m range, three speakers, and HP Audio Boost. - Quad-Core Intel Core Performance
- The system is powered by a 6th Gen Skylake Intel Core i5-6500T processor. Its quad cores can reach a base speed of 2.5 GHz. This processor can also be boosted up to 3.1 GHz.
- Dual-Band 802.11ac Wi-Fi
- Featuring dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, the HP Elite Slice delivers high performance and broader coverage than previous Wi-Fi standards. The HP Elite Slice also comes with Bluetooth technology so you'll be able to connect wirelessly to Bluetooth-compatible peripherals and accessories.

Windows 10 Pro - Start Menu
- After its hiatus in Windows 8, the Start Menu has returned. Utilizing a combination of the traditional menu system and Windows 8's Live Tiles, the improved Start Menu gives you more information at a glance, showing notification information alongside your applications and other pinned items.

- Microsoft's digital personal assistant, Cortana can answer your questions with information gleaned from both your device and the internet at large. You can type or even talk with her, if your system has a microphone. Using her Notebook, Cortana keeps track of your needs and wants, and she learns over time to improve her information gathering skills.
