Product description With up to a 20 Gb/s full-duplex Ethernet transfer rate per port, the Intel X550 10GBase-T Dual-Port NIC Card from HP is designed to supercharge your HP Z4, Z6, and Z8 G4 workstations. This NIC features TCP/IP stateless offloading to help alleviate the strain placed on the CPU along with support for jumbo frames and extensive VLAN protocol support so you can separate each port into multiple virtual NICs. - Dual-Port 10 Gigabit Ethernet Throughput
- Improve response times and alleviate bottlenecks that impact the performance of data centers with a 20 Gb/s full-duplex Ethernet transfer rate per port.
- TCP/IP Stateless Offloading
- Optimize host efficiency and leave the CPU available for other duties with support for TCP/IP stateless offloading.
- 5x the Size of a Standard 1500-Byte Ethernet Frame
- Achieve high-throughput performance and improve CPU utilization for database transfer and tape backup operations with support for jumbo frames and up to a 9.5kB transmission unit (MTU) when running Ethernet I/O traffic.
