Product description The LSI 9217 8-Port 6 Gb/s SAS RAID Controller Card from HP is designed to provide high-speed throughput to internal drives and scalability to external storage arrays. It features four internal and four external 6 Gb/s SAS/SATA ports along with one internal and external x4 mini-SAS. The card enables fast signaling of high-bandwidth applications with eight lanes of PCIe 3.0. With a low profile form factor design, it offers integrated RAID (0, 1, 1E, and 10) support. This card supports up to 256 SAS or SATA end devices and is compatible with HP Z420 and HP Z620 workstations. - The card features four internal and four external 6 Gb/s SAS/SATA ports
