Product description The LSI 9270-8i SAS 6 Gb/s ROC Internal RAID Card from HP offers a combination of enterprise RAID data protection and proven interoperability with workstations and server platforms, based on the PCIe 3.0 specification. The card features eight internal ports, two 800 MHz PC processor cores, and a 72-bit DDR3 interface that drives 1GB cache memory. Powered by the LSISAS2208 dual core ROC, the controller card includes PCIe 3.0 and 6 Gb/s SAS/SATA technology to maximize the performance benefits of solid-state storage. Standard support for RAID level and accessories, including RAID 5, RAID 6, and battery backup, further strengthen the data protection capabilities of the MegaRAID SAS 9270-8i. - The controller card consists of eight internal 6 Gb/s SATA+ SAS ports over two mini-SAS (SFF8087) internal connectors
- With 1GB DDR3 cache memory, the card also supports PCIe 3.0 host interface
- Supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60
