Product description A multi-functional unit for a small business or home office, the OfficeJet 5255 All-in-One Inkjet Printer from HP offers printing, scanning, copying, and faxing functions for creating and digitizing documents. This model can produce 4800 x 1200 dpi prints at speeds of 7 ppm for color and 10 ppm for black, accepting media up to 8.5 x 14" legal down to 3 x 5" paper. Borderless printing is available for media as big as 8.5 x 11", while scanning jobs can be done either on a flatbed or ADF at an optical resolution of 1200 dpi. Dual-sided printing, scanning, and copying are all possible. However, scanning and copying need to be done manually. The OfficeJet 5255 can connect to your computer via USB 2.0 for standard printing, or use its built-in Wi-Fi functionality for wireless direct printing. It also allows you to easily send jobs from your mobile phone via Mopria, Apple AirPrint, and HP ePrint, among other apps. A 2.2" touchscreen LCD display is used to show current print job, ink levels, and can be used to change settings. For handling media, the unit counts with a 100-sheet input tray and a letter-size flatbed for scanning, while the ADF tray can hold up to 35 sheets. Finally, the unit is designed to be durable with a rated monthly duty cycle of up to 1000 pages. It worked fine for a couple months, and suddenly it won't feed the paper anymore--whether the tray has 25 pages in it, or just one--it won't feed. All the indicator lights light up and responds to load the paper notice, and it makes a lot of electronic sounds, whirs and clicks, but it doesn't even attempt to grab the paper.
