Product description Built with the power to drive competitive gaming, premium entertainment, and intensive multitasking, the HP OMEN Obelisk 875-0020 Desktop Computer is powered using a 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5-8400 six-core processor with 9MB of Intel Smart Cache, which allows you to run multiple applications while providing significant performance. If you need more power, the CPU can deliver extra performance by increasing the clock speed up to 4.0 GHz utilizing Intel's Turbo Boost technology.
The OMEN Obelisk's 8GB of 2666 MHz DDR4 RAM allows the computer to run multiple applications simultaneously and quickly access frequently used files and programs. Moreover, the OMEN Obelisk is equipped with two 288-pin DIMM slots that can be upgraded for a total of 16GB of RAM. For long-term storage of your files, this system is equipped with a 256GB PCIe NVMe M.2 solid-state drive, which means it contains no moving parts, so it can be more resistant against bumps, drops, and other kinds of damage. SSDs also receive less wear and tear than traditional hard drives, as there are no read and write heads.
If you want to add external storage drives or other peripherals, the OMEN Obelisk 875-0020 features seven USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A port, and one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port. The dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card features 6GB of GDDR5 RAM over a 192-bit memory interface and delivers a sharp, clear picture while allowing for up to four simultaneous displays to be used via its three DisplayPort outputs, one HDMI output, and one Dual-Link DVI-D output at resolutions up to 7680 x 4320 @ 60 Hz.
