It scans documents using either an 8.5 x 11.7" flatbed or a versatile and speedy automatic document feeder. The flatbed offers an enhanced optical resolution of 1200 dpi while the ADF unit maintains a sharp 600 dpi for crisp, clear documents. Also, the ADF is able to work at speeds of up to 20 ppm, or 40 ipm in duplex mode, and handle long documents up to 8.5 x 122" in size. A daily duty cycle of 1,500 pages ensures minimal downtime while a simple USB 2.0 cable is used for connecting to a computer.
