Product description Add high-speed Thunderbolt 2 connectivity to your HP Z series workstation with the HP Thunderbolt-2 PCIe 1-Port I/O Card. This PCIe card supports bi-directional Thunderbolt 2 speeds up to 20 Gb/s, and supports daisy-chaining of up to 6 Thunderbolt devices. The HP Thunderbolt-2 PCIe 1-Port I/O Card is compatible with the HP Z820, Z620, Z420, and Z230 workstations, and supports a wide range of Thunderbolt and Thunderbolt 2 peripherals without requiring a cable adapter. This PCIe card has a DisplayPort input for outputting video with its simultaneous Thunderbolt connection. - High-speed, dual-protocol I/O that delivers fast-performance with 20 Gb/s bi-directional, dual-channel transfer speeds. Low latency and enhanced time synchronization supports accurate audio and video creation, playback, and editing.
- Support data and video with PCIe and DisplayPort on a single card with a single cable connection. Enjoy high productivity by daisy-chaining up to six devices. A DisplayPort input is required to enable downstream DisplayPort devices on the Thunderbolt daisy chain.
