• HP Z240 Series Small Form Factor Workstation (ENERGY STAR) The Z240 Series Small Form Factor Workstation (ENERGY STAR) from HP delivers powerful performance in a small form factor design and is geared towards professionals who require high reliability. With the capabilities to operate in immersive work environments and handle 24x7x365 workloads, the Z240 delivers processor and graphics technologies, as well as scalability to match your business needs.
  
  This system is powered by a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7-6700 Quad-Core processor which will allow you to run multiple applications simultaneously. If you need more power, the system can be overclocked to 4.0 GHz using Intel's Turbo Boost 2.0 technology. The 8GB of 2133 MHz RAM helps to ensure smooth multitasking and also allows the computer to quickly access frequently-used files and programs. While the current memory configuration is 1 x 8GB, there are four total memory slots that will allow the RAM to be upgraded to 64GB, using a 16GB chip in each of the four memory slots.
  
  For long term storage of your files, a 1TB 7200 rpm hard drive offers quick access to your data. If you want to add external storage drives or other peripherals, the Z240 features 8 x USB 3.0 ports and 2 x USB 2.0 ports. For users who wish to add additional components or upgrade the existing drive bays, the Z240 has 1 x 3.5" internal bay, 1 x 2.5" internal drive bay, and one shared internal/external 3.5" bay. There are also a total of four PCIe expansion slots and one M.2 slot that uses a PCIe Gen3 x4 connection. The Intel HD Graphics 530 delivers a sharp, clear picture and features three DisplayPort outputs. Whether you are listening to music, watching a movie, or playing a game, the integrated HD audio controller outputs high definition audio and delivers higher fidelity than standard audio controllers.
  
  The Z240 Series Small Form Factor Workstation includes a USB keyboard, a USB mouse, and a power cord. It operates using 90-264 VAC at 47-63 Hz. While the installed operating system is Windows 7 Professional (64-bit), a Windows 10 Professional (64-bit) license and media is included.

  • This system is pre-installed with Windows 7 Professional (64-bit) software and also comes with a license and media for Windows 10 Professional (64-bit) software. You may only use one version of the Windows software at a time. Switching between versions will require you to uninstall one version and install the other version. You must back up all data (files, photos, etc.) before uninstalling and installing operating systems to avoid loss of your data

  Windows Continuum
  • Windows 10 was designed for a variety of screen sizes and input styles, and with its Continuum feature, it automatically adapts to fit your needs.
