This anti-glare, BrightView panel features a native Cinema 4K resolution of 4096 x 2160 @ 60 Hz, In-Plane Switching (IPS) technology, a widescreen 17:9 aspect ratio, a static contrast ratio of 1500:1, 250 cd/m2 brightness, and a 10 ms response time. Using the 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, it is possible to watch content from virtually any position. This display can accept input signals using its dual DisplayPort 1.2 ports, dual HDMI 2.0 ports, and one USB Type-C port, which not only supports DisplayPort 1.2, but also power delivery up to 60W. Other featured connections include four USB 3.0 Type-A ports (downstream) and one USB 3.0 Type-B port (upstream).
HP has engineered the Z31x with 10-bit color that supports 100% of the sRGB, BT.709, and Adobe RGB gamuts, 99% of the DCI-P3 gamut, and 80% of the BT.2020 gamut. Aside from its native 4096 x 2160 resolution, it is also able to support resolutions of 3840 x 2160, 2048 x 2160, 2560 x 1440, 2048 x 1080, 1920 x 1080, 1366 x 768, 1280 x 1024, 1280 x 720, 1024 x 768, 800 x 600, 720 x 400, and 640 x 480.
To further help improve viewing and accessibility, the Z31x features a tilt of -5 to 30°. a swivel of ±45°, and a height adjustment of 4.6". This display operates using 100 to 240 VAC and includes an AC power cable, a DisplayPort 1.2 cable, an HDMI cable, a USB Type-C to Type-C cable, a USB Type-C to Type-A cable, and a USB Type-A to Type-B cable.
