Product description Studio Storage Solutions Read More The 2530 Resin Case from HPRC is a clamshell case that provides up to 20.2 x 11.3 x 5.2" of capacity and is designed to protect its contents from impacts, moisture, dirt, or corrosion while meeting the carry-on requirements for most airlines. Utilizing a polypropylene, fiberglass, rubber, and stainless-steel construction, the HPRC 2530 Resin Case is ATA 300, IP67, STANAG 4280, and DS 81-41 complaint. When closed, this clamshell case's interior is fully sealed from dust, as well as water from 5.9" to 3.3' deep, while providing long-lasting resistance to wear-and-tear.
The HPRC 2530 Resin Case's ergonomic, carry handle can be folded downward, helping to reduce the amount of space it occupies whether it is placed upright, or on its base. Four, molded feet elevate the base, protecting it from moisture and abrasive surfaces. While its lid faces upward, the clamshell case's interior can be reached by opening the two latches along the handle. The base and lid are joined by a pair of heavy-duty hinges, while the latches' double-hinged design prevents the HPRC 2530 Resin Case from accidentally opening due to bumps or shocks when in transit.
Both the base and lid include a pair of shackle eyelets that align when closing the HPRC 2530 Resin Case. Two separately available padlocks with 1/4" diameter shackles can then be installed along the handle for enhanced security. While closed, a built-in valve automatically equalizes air pressure between the interior and exterior of the clamshell case. This pressure valve is water-resistant and further prevents the HPRC 2530 Resin Case from accidentally opening during air travel or when moving from areas of low altitude to high altitude.
An HPRC Soft, Padded Open Deck and Dividers Kit for the HPRC 2530 Resin Case is also provided. Once installed, this divider kit helps maximize available carrying space, protects equipment or valuables for transport, and provides interior organization that can easily be rearranged along with changes to the contents of the clamshell case.
The HPRC Soft, Padded Open Deck and Dividers Kit consists of two perimeter insert sections, three divider sections, a bottom cushion, as well as one zippered, mesh accessory pocket. When the HPRC 2530 Resin Case is placed on its side with the handle folded downward, the perimeter insert sections can be installed on top of the bottom cushion, so that together, they conform to the interior of the clamshell case. Like the dividers and the bottom cushion, the zippered, mesh accessory pocket is constructed from nylon as well as cotton and can be affixed to the inside panel that faces the user when removing or placing items with the HPRC 2530 Resin Case. -
