Product description Aerial Photography and Drone Glossary Read More The H501M X4 Waypoints FPV Drone from Hubsan lets you experience real time FPV through your iOS or Android smartphone. Attach your smartphone to the included wireless controller to pilot the X4 Waypoints, and to let the HD 720p footage stream in. You're able to control the quadcopter from up to 164' away, either manually or by utilizing one of the autonomous flight modes for a more stress-free aerial photography session. On a full battery charge you can power the quadcopter's four brushless motors for up to 20 minutes of flight time, and if there's ever a problem, the X4 Waypoints can use built-in safety features to keep from crashing. - Waypoints
- The X4 Waypoints features a built-in GPS for accurate global positioning, which works with the waypoints feature to allow you to set a specific flight plan for the drone. Just tap your phone to plot out your Waypoints, and the drone will follow your flight path automatically. Using Waypoints lets you concentrate on the experience without the stresses that come from piloting.
- Automatic Takeoff
- With the tap of a button on your mobile device you can command the X4 Waypoints to takeoff. When combined with the Waypoints function, you can have the quadcopter take off and complete a pre-determined flight plan all by itself.
- Follow Me
- With this mode activated, the X4 Waypoints will act like your own personal cameraman. Locking onto you, it will follow your movements for uninterrupted tracking shots.
- Headless Flight
- This mode is designed to make flying the drone a little more straightforward, especially for those without a lot of flight experience. With Headless Mode activated, the drone will continuously adjust its front end relative to your mobile device. Regardless of which way the actual front of the drone is facing, moving forward in the app will move the drone away relative to your mobile device.
- Orbiting
- This function allows you to designate a point around which the drone will orbit, letting you take 360-degree circular video of whatever is in the center of the orbiting X4 Waypoints.
- Safety Features
- Loss of Flight Control - If the connection is to the remote connector is lost, the X4 Waypoints will automatically land, and if the connection is lost for over three seconds, the drone will return home and land at the point of takeoff.
