Product description Styled in a natural high gloss finish, the Ibanez AE Series AE2414 is a full-size 12-string acoustic/electric guitar made from mahogany. The guitar's large, single-cutaway body delivers a powerful, expansive, and balanced acoustic sound. Unplugged or amplified, the instrument is well suited for solo performance or playing with a full band.The instrument features a mahogany top, mahogany back and sides, and a 25.6" scale mahogany neck with a 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard. The guitar has a bone nut and compensated bone saddle. The back of its neck sports a smooth, satin finish, for added comfort while playing.For electronics, this guitar sports an undersaddle T-bar pickup and Ibanez custom electronics. The electronics have been streamlined, offering no tonal controls in order not to interfere with the instrument's acoustic resonance, and to work better with external preamps.Strings are affixed to the headstock with chrome die-cast tuners and secured to the body with an ovangkol bridge. Ornamental touches include a soundhole rosette made of maple and abalone. - General Features
