Product description Styled in a Natural high-gloss finish, the Ibanez AEB105E is a five-string acoustic/electric bass with a spruce top and sapele back and sides. The instrument delivers a pointed yet balanced tone due to the combination of spruce and maple. Unplugged or amplified, the instrument is well suited for solo performance or playing with a full band. A maple neck offers a 32" scale as well as an 22-fret purpleheart fingerboard. Other features include a purpleheart bridge, an abalone rosette, and chrome die-cast tuners.
For electronics, the bass is equipped with a Fishman Sonicore pickup, as well as a Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp with a 2-band EQ and a tuner. The preamp gives you two different outputs: Use the 1/4" output to plug into your favorite acoustic amplifier or send sound straight to house with the XLR output, obviating the need for a dedicated DI. - General Features
