Product description Styled in tobacco brown finish, the Artcore Series AF71F from Ibanez is a hollow-body electric guitar. It features a maple top, back, and sides, and boasts a set-in mahogany neck. The hollow single-cutaway body delivers a warm, resonant sound that is well suited for playing jazz. The neck is fitted with a 20-fret bound-rosewood fingerboard with acrylic block inlays and chrome tuners. The strings are anchored by an ART-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge for sustain and tuning stability, as well as a VT06 tailpiece. For electronics, the AF71F is equipped with a single Classic Elite humbucking pickup in the neck position, perfectly positioned for mainstream, straight-ahead jazz playing. A volume knob and tone knob are provided. Use this to let in some high end, or to dial down the treble for more of that woody, Wes Montgomery sound. The pickup itself offers a rich, nuanced tone with fat low end, which nicely complements the wood's inherent tonal qualities. - Classic Elite Pickups
