Product description Styled in a brown violin semi-gloss finish, the AVNB1FE from Ibanez is a parlor-sized, fretless acoustic/electric bass. It sports a solid Sitka spruce top, as well as mahogany back and sides. The instrument delivers a pointed, yet balanced tone, due to the combination of spruce and mahogany. Unplugged or amplified, the instrument is well suited for solo performance or playing with a full band. A set-in mahogany neck offers a 25" scale as well as a fretless, cultured maple fingerboard. Other features include a cultured maple bridge, a multi-wood rosette, and cosmo black die-cast tuners. For electronics, the bass is equipped with a Fishman undersaddle pickup, as well as an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp with a 2-band EQ. The preamp gives you two different outputs: Use the 1/4" output to plug into your favorite acoustic amplifier, or send sound straight to house with the XLR output, thus obviating the need for a dedicated DI. - General Features
