Product description Styled in a weathered black, the Ibanez Meshuggah Signature Series M80M is an eight-string electric guitar. It sports an ash body, as well as a bolt-on, five-piece maple/walnut neck. Measuring 29.4" in scale to accommodate the tension of extra strings, this neck offers a jatoba fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets. Strings are attached to the body by means of an FX Edge III-8 fixed bridge.
For electronics, the instrument offers you a single Lundgren Model M8P pickup designed specifically for this guitar. It's located in the bridge position, and it's engineered to give you a balanced, precise, and defined tone even at the lowest notes—and even at the highest gains. This instrument comes with a gig bag. - M80M 5-Piece Maple/Walnut Neck
- Coupling maple with walnut produces a strong and stable neck, which features a quick response.
- 29.4" Scale
- 29.4" extra-long scale neck with preset down tuning emits a tight sound all the way down to the lowest note.
- Jatoba Fingerboard
- Jatoba has a reddish-brown color, and produces a rich midrange with a crisp high end.
- Lundgren Model M8P Pickup
- The Lundgren Model M8P delivers a well-defined tone even in playing with high-gain settings.
