Product description Styled in an anvil gray burst finish, the Ibanez Prestige Series RG657PB is an electric guitar with a solid, double-cutaway body, a bolt-on neck, DiMarzio pickups, and an Edge Tremolo bridge. The Super Wizard HP five-piece neck, constructed out of maple and walnut, provides a scale of 25.5” and features a rosewood with 24 jumbo frets and white dot inlays. The body is fashioned out of mahogany, with a poplar burl top.For electronics, this guitar utilizes DiMarzio pickups, including an Air Norton humbucker in the neck, a True Velvet single coil in the middle, and a Tone Zone humbucking pickup at the bridge. The neck humbucker provides a warm tone that doesn’t stray into muddy timbres, while the bridge humbucker offers a hot signal, wide dynamic range, and a sound developed in the bass and midrange frequencies to give the sound heft and depth. The single coil, located in the middle, is tuned to a bright, but not thin, frequency range, thus lending sweetness to notes above the 12th fret. A five-way selector switch allows for various pickup combinations and tonal options, while a shared set of volume and tone knobs provide broad level and timbre controls. - Super Wizard HP Neck
