Product description Styled in a sodalite finish, the Ibanez j.custom Series RG8520 is an electric guitar with a solid, double-cutaway body, a bolt-on neck, DiMarzio pickups, and a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo bridge. The j.custom Super Wizard five-piece neck, constructed out of maple and wenge, provides a scale of 25.5” and features bound, selected rosewood with 24 jumbo frets and a Tree of Life inlay. The body is fashioned out of mahogany with a flamed maple top.For electronics, this guitar utilizes two DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbucking pickups. These pickups have been engineered to provide you with a powerful, crisp, and piercing high-end, as well as a tightly compressed bass response and a distinct absence of mud in the midrange.
A three-way selector switch allows for pickup combinations and tonal options, while a coil-tap switch allows you to elicit more single-coil sounds. a shared set of volume and tone knobs provide broad level and timbre controls. Gotoh straplocks are provided, as is a hardshell case for transportation. - j.custom Special Neck
- The RG j.custom Super Wizard five-piece maple/wenge neck includes jumbo frets finished with j.custom special fret edge treatment for a smooth, comfortable performance. A Velvetouch finish on neck back ensures a comfortable feel and facilitates ease of play.

- This model offers a selected rosewood fingerboard with flamed maple binding and Tree of Life inlay.
- All Access Neck Joint
- The j.custom special neck joint bolsters playability at the high frets.
- Easy Access Control Knobs
- Recessed control knobs also bolster playability.
- AAA Flamed Maple Top / African Mahogany Body
- A flamed maple top and African mahogany back body provides rich lows and crisp highs.
- DiMarzio® Fusion Edge Pickups
- Through close collaboration between Ibanez and DiMarzio, the Fusion Edge pickups have been engineered to produce a powerful, distinctive tone with a crisp, cutting high end, and a tight, compressed bottom end, minus any muddy midrange.
- Edge Tremolo Bridge
- The Lo-Pro Edge bridge offers playing comfort with a streamlined profile and recessed fine tuners. Locking studs contribute to tuning stability.
